The 14 pin cluster plug in the rear of the instrument panel of my 1983 240d came undone. Any suggenstions on finding the correct order and color code in which they re-attach? Thanks

HERE is the wiring diagram. How did it manage to come apart?

The pins are attached to a two piece plug. When I grabed on to the plug to disconnect it, half of it came apart and the pin connectors came out.
