This may be too easy for you guys but help... I have a 2000 S430 and broke the hood start. I just recieved a new star and can't put it on.

Open the hod and look under the hood star. turn that counterclockwise 90 degrees. install the opposite way. usually a pair of long nosed pliers or offset pliers does the trick.
