    Hey Guys,

I have a maroon 03 C240 sedan with stock suspension and 16" rims with new Kumho Ectsa tires. I am looking to purchase some bigger rims and was wondering if anyone knew how wide I could go without having problems with my suspension. I want 17x9s but would 17x8s be better? DO you think 18s will be too big? I live in San Francisco and the roads are quite bad here!

What do you think of these?

Thanks,
Q

The C240 can fit up to a 20" wheel and tire without problems, comfort of ride though is best at an 18". As for 19's, you would not acheive more then what the 20's do, due to the fact the 19's and 20's have roughly the same side wall height.

Sorry, with no problems... You do need an installer or company that is familiar with applications, not just a book. Wheels and tires are more then a book, and most internet sites are the same old book.

Don't think either that you need multi-piece wheels, there are several options out there for single cast wheels as well, though multi's do fit, just cost about 2-3 times as much.

If you have no plan to lower your car, then I recommend set of 17" at the most.  If you are going to lower the car, then set of 18" is recommended.
