E240 Owner -> Electric window switch removal A140 (2/3/2008 8:25:24 AM)

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site so please forgive me if I'm posting incorrectly. I need some info regarding removal of electric window switch, to enable replacing same. The car A140 year 2005 manual, window switch controls the front windows only, problem is window on drivers side won't open. Fuses ok. I have been able to remove the console (between front seats) that houses the switch, but the handbrake lever is preventing me from totally removing the console. Can anyone advise or is there an online manual available.
