Ok, I am going nuts trying to find the answer.
I am trying to find the name of the device that you can hook up from the battery to the engine starter where you squeze a trigger to "bump" or rotate the car engine while under the car hood. Does anyone know?

It's called a remote starter switch.

Or bump starter.
