CDI Wiring to Inj Pump: Wire Colors

CDI Wiring to Inj Pump: Wire Colors - 1/22/2008 2:09:30 PM

I have a 1987 300TD (6 cyl. diesel). The previous owner appears to have messed around with the wiring that goes to a black socket that plugs down onto the top of the injection pump. There are three wires that go into it, and I'm checking to make sure they are plugged into the correct positions. The MB CD's describe the positions and colors of the wires, but the wires on the car do not match the colors described in the documentation.
Anyone out there familiar with this engine know which color wire goes where (front, middle, back)?

You do not have a CDI.

Thanks. Should say the wires going to the control rod position sensor on my EDS system. Anyone know the three wire colors and where they should go (front, middle, back)?
