WheelAuthority -> RE: chrome vs. alloy wheels (2/16/2008 6:02:28 PM)

Get the wheels you want, we offer over 4000 styles. Chrome vs. Alloy is what you want in appearance. Chrome is more maintenance, but it is chrome. Whereas alloy, its a satin finish, conservative, but still stylish. Weight wise, roughly the same.... 99% of the wheels out there are aluminum (alloy), and the paper thin nickel doesn't add that much weight. You can get ultralights, that typically do not come in chrome and are lighter then typical single cast, but are limited in availability. www.theWheelAuthority.com - not just an INTERNET site... but a day-to-day installer.
