recently ive experience a problem with a c240 trany when i go u hill or down hill or in some curves the transmissiion dosent work it disconects the a take it from drive to parking and it works again is this a comon prolem?

Have the transmission fluid level checked as they commonly leak at the conductor plate electrical connection. Also becoming more common is glycol contamination of the transmission which will cause erratic shifts and shuttering. Good luck.

I`ll try to be more especific, the car was working fine about a week ago but then a notice that when i go up hill it fills like if the transmission goes to N and the car dosent move in that case I have to take the shift to parking and then again to D and the car moves this problem has become more comen an i belive the car wont move at all, ive notice that when this happens and I move the stick from right to left it gets stock in D i cant go to 4321 only if i take the stick to P againt it will reconice the tiptronic

I had this same exact problem in my jeep cherokee. Which is a similar Tranny. Anyway I replaced the seal and filter and fluid and it seemed to fix the problem.
