Bad Luck - 12/28/2007 6:25:05 PM    C280 SPORT   Posts: 976 Joined: 9/1/2007 From: Saratoga Springs, New York Status: online So for my high school graduation gift I got a 2000 C280 Sport. not bad at all. It didnt have a CD Player in it because the person that ha dit before me took it out. So i wated untill Christmas to get one and i got one for $400. not bad considering they go for $1000+ new at the dealer. So today i took it to the people that work on sound systems and they hook it up and I get on my radio saying "NO CD CHANGER" im thinking What the hell? so i called the parts destributer that I got it from and UPS man droped it and broke it. so now i have it installed in my car and i have to take it back to the audio place and get it taken out and the destributer will send me a new cd changer at no charge. And also i made an appoitment with the local MB Dealer to get it looked at but now i have to cancle it because the cd changer has to be sent back. So in the end it turned out to be a long day from the Audio place to my local MB Specialest to the MB Dealer. I have the Zune from Microsoft and i got the am/fm transmiter and it was terrable. All it did for me was intercept other channels and cel phone calls. It is a good idea but i just didnt work. No harm intended, but a Mercedes and a Zune just do not go together... get a better quality player. Anyway, I do hope you get your audio system working. (in reply to C280 SPORT) Post #: 5

I listen mostly to my iPod through aux-in. Search around, there's aux adapters for your car. RE: Bad Luck - 1/2/2008 5:52:08 PM    C230Renntech   Posts: 53 Joined: 4/29/2007 Status: offline just a note did you check ebay or this classified are in the forums for compatible radios or direct upgrades first? i bought a command nav from canada for mine yet to be installed cause of school but it does work i have tested it and that was 458.00 i think for 400 if it wasnt a 7inch flip out you got robbed. most flip outs also come w media modules you can plug an aux media player into like your zune i used my port in the media player in our family jeep suv for the ipod and slim ps2 for the kids _____________________________ Success usually comes to those who are too busy to look for it.
