HELP! LEFT TURN SIGNAL STAYS ON! - 12/20/2007 12:31:42 PM    california babe   Posts: 6 Joined: 4/10/2006 Status: offline Hi everyone, my e320 wagon left turn signal stays on (with the ignition on) all the time except if i turn the right one on. bulbs look ok,can it be the switch? or anything else? thank you very much.... LEFT TURN SIGNAL STAYS ON! - 12/20/2007 1:46:25 PM    E Cls Owner   Posts: 31 Joined: 10/29/2007 Status: offline Sounds like the switch...  Unfortunately, unlike the Mercedes of the 1970's and 1980s which had switch assemblies that could be sometimes repairs, about the only choice on a W210 is replacement.  The assembly runs approximately $130, and takes 1.5 hours, +/-, to replace it... LEFT TURN SIGNAL STAYS ON! - 12/22/2007 2:17:29 PM    ohlord   Posts: 978 Joined: 5/9/2007 Status: offline Disconnect the neg lead from the battery,pull the steering wheel off,fasteners on back side.Pull off the plate under it,unscrew the screws under that plate pull the whole unit stalks and all out,replace the directional switch and the reverse procedure.hook up battery,resync windows,enter radio code,reset steering angle sensor,and you're done. ohlord You have an s430 an E320 wagon and an ml320?Go to your indie if you can't diy this job. < Message edited by ohlord -- 12/22/2007 2:24:49 PM > (in reply to california babe) Post #: 4
