My 1998 SLK230 has a factory-installed AM/FM radio with cassette player and no CD player. While most of the SLK230s I have seen have a short external antenna on the left rear fender, mine does not. I do receive AM and FM signals, but the reception is not as strong as on my other car's radio. I haven't found any antenna embedded in the windshield or rear window, but I wouldn't swear there wasn't one. Did MB use a windshield antenna in 1998? Did they offer an internal antenna, and if so, where is it?
