They most definately will, You just need to make sure you have the appropriate spacers. what you have to be care ful about is the rear suspension sitting low when you put the car in gear. I just put a set of Staggered 19 inch cl 65 rims on my 380sec, and they replaced a set of 18 inch hp evo's. 3 inch deep dish lip on both rims, so you should be able to fit new stuff on just fine, just get the spacers

where can you purchase the spacers? someone I know is selling rims for a 92 600SEL with a 44mm offset.  I want  to put them on my 86 420SEL which has a 25mm offset.  how do you know the amount of spacers that are needed?

Thanks

They will fit. I would try the wheels on for clearence between the brake caliper & wheel & also suspension parts & the wheel. If they are Mercedes wheels, the lug bolts should work (taper inside the flange that the bolt tightens against). If they are not Mercedes wheels, you should have bolts from the same company that produces the wheels so you have the proper taper where the bolts seats in the wheel.

You should measure the protruding length of the threads with the bolt in place as if it was bolted on the car. Measure the original wheels & bolts then measure the new wheels & bolts.  They shoul be close to the same  length.

My car (2002 S series) has 22 mm thread showing. Any more than 24 mm likely will not clear the brake cylinders. Check the clearence while the car is still on a hoist or jack.

MrFJJ01;
You can purchase wheel spacers at www.prestigewheel.com or have the custom made at www.wheeladapter.com
