hello need advice. right now i own a 79 240d with a 300d turbo engine in it. It is very nice. also have a 93' honda accord ex stick shift in mint condition with 93,000 miles on it. I love the 126 and the 123s. On Sat i will be seeing an 81'sd The car is a one owner car it has 180,000, but the engine was repalced 2 years ago by the MB dealer. only 6ooo on new engine. also car was taken in for overhaul at mb dealer in ringwood nj about 6 months ago. Lady has all reciepts. car was her fathers who passes away. and she does not want to put it in storage she says she will give it to me cheap cause car is here and she lives in west coast. only fault i found when i went to see where it was parked is that it has a rust spot underneath taillight about size of a silver dollar.. besides i love to drive on long trips to watch football games

126 is still better than 123.

new model have always improved and modified components compared to previous ones.

I suggest you to get a Factory Mercedes Manual.

It has all service and maintenance instructions, step by step.

A great help, hope this will help you.
