I own a 99 CLK 430, and I have had repeated issues this past week with the red SOS button on the ceiling panel. It shows that an SOS call has been made and is attempting to connect, and also mutes the radio console. I know this is an error, as no connection is ever made because I don't subscribe to the service.
The SOS has gone off before, but would shut off within 5 minutes. However this time it has been on straight for 2.5 days now every time I start the car.
Anything anyone can add here is greatly appreciated - THANKS!
