was thinking yesterday.......can a 99 e300 diesel engine go into a 91 350sdl easily ?

Not easily. Engine/transmission electronics, mounting the intercooler, and engine/tranny mounts all have to be adapted to the W126. Putting it into a 92-97 W140 (350SD/S350) would be easier since they had that engine as an option in Europe.

forgot about the electronics part.....the 99 seems rather simple thou.......least compared to my 06 duramax diesel and previous 04 powerstoke. the e300 flys compared to the 350sdl........guess the weight matter a bit also.
