if you want them bad enough, the OEM ones may be made to fit, but I dont recall the degree of modification
needed. i did go for the Ebay ones sold by Taiwan manuf and they turned out very well. maybe i lucked out
on selecting the product but they were well made, strong plastic shell and the fit was good. there are short
LED and there are long LED arrays (what I selected) found on Ebay .
i had to get them color matched/painted, and then i spent several hours wiring them up through the door and
into the kick panel....connecting to GROUND and to switched hot wire beneath the door sill plate. looks
pretty nice......i think. here is pic just after installation. i've since lowered and rolled fenders
on my 99 E320
