Just had some curb rash repaired on my E430 4matic (the previous owner was not good at paralell parking) and the local "Silver King" franchise did a good job in about an hour. 2 wheels for $100. I was somewhat disappointed that he could not repair the wheel while preserving the polished clear coated lip. The whole thing is now silver paint. Bummer, even though it looks clean, I miss that extra gleam around the edge. I need to find some one who can machine the rim, clearcoat it, and return the factory look. Are my requests reasonable, and whom should I seek? PS... the picture shows the less damaged of the 2 wheels before.
