My mom has a 1992 190E that is not getting fuel. When I turn the key I hear the fuel pump hiss. I removed the the plastic covering that covers the fuel filter and saw that it is the original one. I was wondering what the other componets are that are connected to the fuel filter I know that one of them is the fuel pressure regulator are the other two the fuel pump. I poured fuel in the throttle body and it started right up. Is there any other thing that could be blocking fuel beside the fuel filter ???

Not really blocking the lines, but there have been cases of the fuel lines coroding over time. That leads to air getting inside the lines and having a lack of fuel pressure.

Try the fuel injection idler settings. This happened to me. My 190E wouldn't start. The AA checked the fuel pump, lines etc, still wouldn't start. A local garage altered the idler settings and it starts fine now and didn't cost much either!

it sounds more like its strvine of fuel,as you poured fuel it fired up,ok the simple way is to check the fuel pump rely its a graet big rely which is found behind the battery its big black rely, you need to pull the rely out cation the rely sits in the slot very tight,so u ve got pull it out hard as you can, right wen rely is out turn the rely up right to check the numbers the numbers u need is 30AND 87,BRIDGE THE NUMBERS IN RELY SLOT WITH THE RELY OUT YOU HEAR THE PUMP RUNNIG ,TURN THE KEY TO STRAT IF IT STARTS YOU ONLY NEED TO REPLCE A RELY  LET ME NO HW YOU GET ON ..........BEFORE BRIDGE MAKE FUSE LINK THATS SAFE WAY TO BRIDGE A RELY............
