Help guys!
I own a 190d Turbo, 1987 model year, problem is intermittent turbo boost! I'll be driving along on the highway, all of a sudden, turbo stops... very suddenly! Drive a few more minutes and eventually it comes back! It seems to happen especially after a heavy rain, I have know idea what to look for... electrical??? I do all my own work, all factory parts, mb coolant and Shell Rotella synthetic 5W40 every 4500 miles, car has about 220,000 miles.

You might want to check if you have a trap oxidizer (left side of engine, looks like an aluminum football), also call a certified benz shop, give them your VIN # and see if youre eligible for a factory recall.

My trap recall fixed about half my power issue on the freeways. Then I plugged off the EGR hose and it's almost back to normal.

good luck and enjoy
