SportCoupé Sunroof Failure - 4/23/2007 2:10:25 AM    Andy28   Posts: 4 Joined: 4/23/2007 Status: offline Our 2002 C230 Kompressor SportCoupé sunroof recently stopped functioning.  The sunshade will retract but the sunroof will only tilt up about a quarter of an inch without reaching the point of sliding backwards.  No malfunction warnings are appearing in the display. A visit to the local dealer (Stahl Motor Co., Inc. in Monterey, California) resulted in a estimate of $3700.00 to replace the entire roof!  A second opinion from a trusted local shop (Greg Bean Auto) failed to offer up any other solutions.  I would appreciate any suggestions or comments.  Thank you.
