Hello Everyone,
I would appreciate any advice you may offer on purchasing a respectable replacement drivers side rear tail light assembly. I have a 2001 C240 sedan. I believe the chassis number is 203.061. I have found them anywhere from an aftermarket $125 to the dealership $215. I don't know if the aftermarket part has the MB stamp. It looks like about a 15 minute job. So far I have changed all the brakes and rotors, upper and lower control arms, spark plugs, and a windshield wiper motor all within the last 5,000 miles with the help from this Forum and the Internet. My car has approximately 95,000 miles on it and I was surprised to see such a low the resale value.
