A truly original car. Owned by the same gentleman since 1982 this 280SE has
spent it''s entire life in Texas. Originally purchased at a dealership in San Antonio and then sold in 1982 to a gentleman in Tyler.
All original manuals, service booklets, and even receipts of sale and repair are available. This is an excellent example of the W108 series Mercedes line, with a 4.5 V8 that is rock solid, powerful, but doesn''t gulp gas like the 6.3. A truly beautiful car.
The most recent maintenance took place 1 month ago and consisted of:
* New A/C Compressor
* New Fan Switch
* New Master Cylinder
* New Brake Pads
* Complete tune-up: plugs, wires, timing adjustment, all filters, and all fluids
Those who are familiar with the W108 series know how well these cars have been put together, and how ahead of their time they were. This 280 has power everything and even 4 wheel disc brakes, plus 1972 marked the last year that Mercedes hand-built these.
