SRS dash light flickering on - 9/14/2004 7:11:07 AM    tobyd   Posts: 28 Joined: 9/9/2004 Status: offline The SRS light on my dash is occasionally flickering on during hard braking or flamboyant cornering. Could this be a loose connection or is it likely to be more complicated? Thanks for looking. On some of the long straights, I found my SRS warning to flicker on. It may be my imagination but the light always went off when I moved the steering wheel slightly to either side. If so, and there is a loose connection, I would assume it is between the airbag itself and the wiring within the steering wheel. (Just remove the steering wheel cover to check.) This would explain why the problem went away when the steering wheel was moved from side to side. (in reply to sleepwalker) Post #: 8
