18x8 on 1995 E320 Cabriolet - HELP!

OK .... Go a new set of 18x8 wheels for my '95 E320 Cabriolet. Wheels look great (ill post pic's later) however it looks like my fronts stand too wide .... They have an ET30 but yet seem to sit proud of the fenders .... Should it be a different offset? I want to also drop the suspension 1.3" shortly but need to rectify this problem... How do i post pic's to show you guys the problem?

I know the OEM wheels for a 95 E320 cabriolet are 6 1/2 J  X 15in and 44mm ET.
Changing 1mm from stock can have detremental effects, according to the MB dealer.
