Hi

is it possible to swap a 1984 300SD both Transmission & Engine for a Dodge Sprinter transmission &engine. Any sites or advice will help.

that would be interesting. I have no idea. What drivetrain is going where?300SD in a Sprinter or vice versa.

Unless your dad has an inside source, it will probably cost you upwards of $5000 for a sprinter engine, tranny, and all the electronics/accessories it needs to run. After that, you have the many hours it will take to adapt everything to work with the car. Engine control/management, speedometer, tachometer, coolant temperature, intercooler, tranny cooler, EGR, driveshaft, engine/tranny mounts, and oil pan-crossmember interference are just some of the problems you will run into.

In other words, you will quickly spend 2-4x the value of the car on this conversion. It's not really worth it.
