Hi all. My Fiancee's A190's engine diagnostic light lit up, and (since it was due a service) she took it in. The results back for the engine light are: quote:
Carried out star diagnostic test, fault showing with Engine Control Monolyth(sic) Replacement is order to chassis number... Part £742 Fitting £55 He told her to keep going with it until it dies, when the car will start to backfire, as it could be any length of time (a few days, a few months) until it fails. Then get it replaced. I've done a quick search for the engine control monolith, but am not finding anything that's of much use, so I thought I'd throw it out here! Any comments in general?
