I think I might have a few vacuum lines mixed up because I can't get it to shut off properly (have to use the fuel shut-off valve) and can't lock the doors properly either.... I spent hours trying to find diagrams online and attempting to read the one under my hood, but to no avail... Can anyone help with a diagram, or if someone just knows where those bloody wires go... The only hoses I can't figure out are the ones coming through the firewall and into the vacuum mesh.. The rest seem to go where they're supposed to...
Thanks...

Can you send that vacuum diagram?? I have an 83 300 TD that has the auto locks disconnected cause I can't find the leak.

Any tips on vacuum line leak finding?? Can you pressureize vacuum lines and use soap solution on the joints??

sure, send me your VIN number.

joshuajeeper is a jeepers creepers because he didn't even bother to thank me after all the troubles i been through on his favor.

what you need is a vacuum diagram inside the car....right? power locking? specify it.

checking the vacuum needs vacuum handpump.

Sorry about that Sleepwalker... I've had no internet access for a while, but I'm back up again.. and thank you for your help... I realized that I had all my lines set up correctly but I was about 20psi lower of what I need according to the shop manual and my vacuum pump was barely working.. The piston has almost complete blowby in the pump so I went out and bought an electric vacuum pump and put a "dud plate" over the old spot and the problem is now fixed... It also gave me 2 more HP by taking off the mechanic pump... Sometimes bad things turn out to be a good thing...
