I am very close to buying an R diesel.  Anyone have any cold weather experience this season with the new MB Diesels?  What are you getting for mileage?  I am considering the air suspension to help get over any deep snow--anyone have any thoughts or experience on this option (I suspect it is not a common option).  I understand it raises the body 3" at low sppeds only.

I have an 06 e32cdi and have experienced no starting issues so far.  As to the air suspension sounds like a nice option as long as it does become the nightmare Lincoln owners expeienced as their cars aged.  I have friends with Lincolns that have actually traded their car off because of expensive and frequent suspension repairs issues
