... from an 84 W123 wagon. Motor has suspension pump on it but it can be removed for sedan application. Has about 150K on a MB factory rebuilt engine. Transmission was working when removed from vehicle, but unknown miles. Should be fine if serviced. Can be removed.

Am brokering this, as I am no longer able to pull off my diesel project. What's it worth? Say around $2250? That's what I was going to be charged, but all serious offers considered. It's in the garage of a very reputable, long experienced independent.

Sale will be f.o.b. Rockville, MD, buyer's conveyance.

What say ye? ScottSBGroup2006(at)hotmail.com

$2250 for JUST an engine and tranny??????????

That's $1,650 more than I paid for my car!

Even with the extra value of having the suspension pump, $950 is a realistic high value for a used engine and tranny.
