Hi. I am new to this fourm, but have tried unsuccsessfully to get help elsewhere. The problem is that my 1994 E 220 (petrol) having difficulties in starting if the engine is half-warm. The starter is running, but no start. If I wait a few minutes (sometime longer) it starts without problems. This has never happened with a cold motor, and does not happen everytime (can be weeks in between). This is quite frustrating because I do not know what will happen when I turn the key after a brief stop. I be more that gratefull if anybody has a tip or two Thanks Dag

This sounds like a tuffy, since the sympoms come and go on occasion, it would be difficult without plugging into an anylizer that may spot the problem. I would take it to the dealer, or a good independant MB mechanic. It is either a fuel, and or, a computer related issue, an anylizer can identify the fault. Good luck...........
