So today I had a job interview for Banker's Life in Hagers Town. When I was on I-70, I noticed that my car jerked forward, then slowed down...then repeated. It happened exactly like the time when I almost ran out of fuel a few months ago...but right now I've got half a tank left. When it was losing power today, it was at high speeds about 60-70mph, more noticable uphill. What could be the issue?

>Also, a month ago I stopped at my mechanic to see if he could find where I was leaking coolant (that problem is fixed; new thermostat) but they did notice that I was leaking fuel near the engine. Dunno if that has anything to do with it...

Well have u replaced ur fuel filters and since the car has low miles you might want to replace all the fuel lines. Also have u run diesel purge or another diesel cleaner in it?

Owned That was too funny. I should have mentioned diesel though.

No I haven't ran a purge yet. How would I change fuel filters, like where are they located and how many of them are there?

Good advice! I'd definitely put my money on a clogged fuel filter.

another thought, if you are leaking fuel, you could be sucking air.
