hi everyone,i've been reading this forum for awhile now and seem to recall alot of you are getting pretty good fuel milage out of your diesels. i have an 87 sdl with 125K,one owner car,all maintenance has been done.problem is, i don't seem to get anywhere near as good milage as most of you are getting.i'm only averaging around 20-22mpg. i drive 90+ miles a day to and from work ,500 at least a week .most are on empty 2 lane country roads 60+mph,and some city.all filters have been changed,good fuel,new tires inflated properly alignment,etc.it will blow a little black when you get on it from a standstill,but not any at idle.car idles,runs, and drives smooth.the previous owner did do a Motorvac on the fuel system (have reciept).could this have screwed up the injectors any? anyone have another area to look into (pump timing ?)also has anyone used the new Bosio injectors fron Diesel Giant?:results/feedback.thanks.
