I want to lower my sdl all the springs I find say "except diesel" does anyone know why? it would seem that a 5.6 gas v8 would be heavier, so I dont think that is it. Have any of you done it anyway?

Put gasser front springs in from a 300. gassers are lighter than diesels. leave subframe bushings to flatten and get the thinnest spring perch bushing. Now why would you want to lower an sdl?

i want to lower it for two reasons 1. it will look cool with my 18" amg wheels 2. I want to improve its handeling I do a lot of high speed road trips and I want to tighten it up a bit. I thought about using gasser six cylinder springs, but they wont be a higher rate and then it will be a little mushy.
