This is why this forum is a great source for prospective buyers. I marvel at the globalization of car buying. That being said, the C class is an entry level car - don't expect too much - though it certainly gives BM something to fear in that market. Workmanship, quality, and design - hands down - MB - don't even look in the BMW direction.

Well, it seems as though the masses have spoken.... and the winner is?????? Mercedes, hands down. But hmmmm is this not the MERCEDES forum? What did you actually expect? "yea go with the Bimmer, MB sucks" No I think not! That said, yea go with the Mercedes. It's a better build quality, will last longer (if taken care of), will cosmeticly stand the test of time better will have a higher resale value, and it just plain sounds better.... "oh me? I drive a Mercedes" see doesn't that just sound so much more refined!
