Can anyone help and give me some advise about extended warranties. I have a clk320 2003 with 46k miles and want an extended warranty. MB dealership can give me 36 mths, with an additional 48K miles for an extended warranty worth $4,000. Third party warranty is worth it? What third party? Online extended warranties? Through who? Looking for help....!!

Trust me its worth it, I got an extended warranty when I passed 50,000 miles on my clk55 last year and it saved me a lot of money, because all the labor and repairs are free on most of the things that need to get fixed, it excludes the oil changes, brakes and some other maintenace but I used the service twice and my MB service rep always makes sure my car is running good and making use of that warranty, so far I saved over 12,000 just on parts and labor, so it pays off in the long run
