Hi, Looking for advise on how to clean and protect the "flat looking" dashboard and other no-leather items in my new MB. The dealer told me just a damp cloth with some soap suds, then wipe clean with damp cloth. My concern is UV protection. I do not want to use watered down Armorall (50-1) and the likes because they will make them shine because of the oiis they use. You 2c are greatly appreciated to start on the right foot. Enrico

If you can find it, Armorall makes a LOW LUSTER (low gloss) version of its product. I have purchased at Big Lots and not seen it in auto stores in years. A little goes a long way. Test it in a spot that doesn't show to see if the shine is low enough for you. I have two 10 + year old cars and the dashes look great!!! And don't reflect in the windshield.
