RE: Mercedes Bicycles?

Most, not all, but most hybrids have front shocks. Many also have a shock in the seat post. Not in the rear, though.

Actually, Shimano DuraAce is a little better than their Ultegra.

Everything but the weight. Did I miss it again? Not really an issue, though, with a carbon fiber frame. Not to me, anyway. The racers count grams, though. So they can get really anal about weight.

They've been making them since 1966? I've never seen one in a store.

What's that in USD? About $4500?

BlackWolf -> RE: Mercedes Bicycles? (3/2/2006 8:11:39 PM)

Not a high demand for them, I guess, in the states.

and that's $6,822.27 USD. The USD is not as strong as it use to be
And that's $5,683.80 in Euro.

I actually have one of those bikes.  Its the late 90's model but is very well built.  Weighs about 20lbs and rides like a benz. Heres some links for pics guys.  I was told this bike retailed for 3300$.  It was made by a company in Cali called AMP.  It looks like they used some high end shimano parts on the bike as well.

whoa! bicycles? for thousands? that's kinda pocket burning? i'd better get a bike for real speed than for a pricey bicycle that requires me to do some arduous pedalling. lol

Petealex -> RE: Mercedes Bicycles? (8/14/2007 4:49:09 PM)
