My 1987 190-D had bad glow plugs but I let the car sit for about 5 months before replacing them. After the repair, the car started right up but it has had a rough idle and vibration that was not there before. I don t think that there are any leaks, etc. I used some diesel fuel cleaner and anti-gel treatment but it has not helped. Any suggestions?

WOW, first of all let me start by saying that I am shocked that you actualy own an 87 190D. You realize that under 2000 were actualy sold in the USA? I personaly own one as well, Out of curiosity when and where did u buy it? I love mine. I also must ask if it has heated seats or if it has power seats?

Now....

To help me diagnose your problem what is your oil pressure when the car is cold and driving, cold and idling, warm and idling, warm and driving ???

Also, what are the RPMs for each of these

and what is the engine temp. at these?

once u get me a rough idea on these i might be able to help you

thnaks
