Lately when I start my car, I hear a clicking sound coming from the dash. It continues for about 30 seconds, and then stops. Not sure where it is coming from, but sounds like the door lock mechanism or radio area - although both appear fine. The clicking occurs either in park or drive. Anyone else experience this? Thanks!

The noise is coming from the center of the dash, almost sounds like it is coming through the mid speaker.

Clicking occurs with A/C on or off or radio on or off. The clicking is loud, (sounds almost like the doors locking, but not quite that loud) and occurs every five seconds or so - but not at a steady interval. (sometimes the next click comes soon or later)

Same thing is going on here...clicks are not in a rhythm. I'm in Houston is it seems to only happen on cold mornings...not too often here!

This clicking is not just in the morning, it occurs on every start - doesnt seem to be temperature specific and never had the problem in past winters. Anyone recommend a good shop in Charlotte NC besides the dealer?

you have a stepper motor that has a broken linkage arm on it its probibly the left footwell flap or blen air flap you need to go to the dealer and have the codes read. most of the time you can replace it with out removing the dash depens how good the tech. is

I have this problem too just recently...I was wondering if this is a serious problem that needs to be fixed promptly or can it wait?
