The way I did it is by using a product called "Goof-Off". It's a adhesive remover, but not harmful to paint. I placed a towel underneath the badge of my BMW 325 ( to replace it with Hartige logo) so to catch any excess droppings. Then I put goof-off droplets on top behind the letters at the adhesive. let it stand for couple of minutes and repeat. Then with a plastic flat piece I pried loose, you can actually twist the letters when they get loose, it's easier. Then clean up the remainder of the adhesive with goof-off. Wash area with soap and water, and re-wax area couple of times. Then place you new badge. All this must be done in the shade so the Goof-off has time to loosen the adhesive by slow drying. Enrico
