I found the clear lenses on Ebay, with amber bulbs included to changeout the amber side marker lamps in the front fenders. They have clips on them, no screw holes, which suggests to me that they just pull out. My manual, however, says that changing the bulb on the side marker lamps in the front is "technically challenging" and ought to be done by an MB technician. Has anybody out there done this swap, or can anybody explain why removing the lens and changing the bulb is such a technical challenge that only an MB tech should do it? Thank you.

I just did this w/clear lenses from E-Bay. The light slides forward and then pulls out from the back first. Twist out the bulb and the light housing will come off. Replace clear bulb w/amber bulb. Put it back together. Looks good.
