Hi

I have recently bought a 1982 Eclass estate. It needs a little work and so is parked in a shed at the moment while I wait to get a chance to work on it. I noticed at the weekend however that it is getting very damp inside it. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can counteract this??

Joe

Dry it out first. Open the doors and point a fan inside.

If you're going to let it sit undisturbed for awhile there's this.

You can use just desiccant bags inside the car unless moisture is really bad. Search for a retailer. Classic car suppliers is a good source.

Joe;
You have a leak somewhere or a window was left open.
Nevertheless you need to get this rectified.
If you run your hand over the carpet, overhead, leather you should be able to find the offending water.

If someone left the door/window open and it rained or sprinkler wet your inside that's fine.

Just shampoo the inside, wipe down all your leather and recondition.

If you get opportunity get a can of DAMP RID and that will absorb the excess humidity.

Good Luck!

Charles
