Just purchased a 2003 E320 4-Matic. We want to update the look by putting AMG style wheels on. Currently I have 16" wheels. I'm concerned that the ride will be very harsh if I go all the way up to 18's. We have 5 small children and this is my wife's kid's "bus." Any advice? Thanks.

I suppose it will he harsher with 18s. But just take a ride in a Ford Taurus with 18s to remind you that the E320 really ain't that bad with 18s. The kids will think it's fun if they get bounced around, but I doubt they will.

18 inch wheels will be fine on this car, I have not had any complaints of a hard ride. Quality is the key.. we have AMG style split spoke wheels made by TSW that will look great but not break the bank. Send me your e mail and I will send you pictures. The car will look and handle better than the 16 inch. Thank you again..

Thanks all. I bought 18" Intra Signums from www.bekkers.com for only $150 a piece! I also wrapped them in 235/40-18 Kuhmo's. I can't wait to get them! I like the massive look of the Signums and I think they will great on my wife's black wagon.

Hey! Post some impressions here?
The tires on my 4-Matic suppose to last another 15,000 miles, what might be over 2 years, since I own other cars, but worth considering anytime.

Kevin,

I ended up getting a set of 18" Intra Signums from Germany. I am having difficulty finding ball seat bolts that are long enough for this application. The stock ones are too short. I'm trying not to go through the dealer due to the cost but I may have no choice. Any thoughts? Thanks, Kacy
