Hm, I have never heard that before. The deli that I work at currently just got approved for their liquor license, so we will be selling bottled beer by the pack or for eat in only. Hm, dunno! I made out pretty good tonight at my bar. $74 in tips for 4 hours of work. Well, 3 1/2 hours of work. Not too shabby! Plus, my $6 an hour. $6 an hour is good for a bartender to make hourly...the usual is $2.83 an hour for servers/bartenders. Which, if you bartended, you would know. But just for everyone else to acknowledge...TIP YOUR SERVERS AND BARTENDERS WELL IN THE STATES! We work for our tips, not for our paychecks! I hope the next 2 days I am bartending are the same as today was. So, I just hope my hotel guests that came in today will be here for the rest of the week!

Alas, it's the Mormon scourge in Utah. You're going to report and gladly pay taxes on all those tips, correct?
