After two years, I am finally going to admit that "management" is NOT going to fall in love with this car! And, I can't justify keeping it around when she now has a powerful gasoline powered car that has SCAT and ZOOM and all that stuff, which the MB lacks. I have a Chevy 6.5 Turbo Diesel (which won't run on Veggie Diesel) and I need a truck.

Okay so here's the story: I bought the car because of its pristine body....NO rust, great paint and chrome. I have replaced most of the steering parts, including the steering box. All new shocks. New A/C compressor. I bought the car for $1800 and now have just over $5000 in it. And, the seats still need work, or to be replaced. I had the speedometer rebuilt. It said 111,000 miles but it was not working when I bought it. Because of the suspension, steering, and other parts I've had to replace, I judge the car actually has 300,000, or more. What is the most I'm LIKELY to get for it??????

Location, location, location.
Try to drop another 5 grands in it to increase the value for another $500.
On the serious note those cars are still popular in California. I sold my 83 300tdt for $2800, what was 600 more, than what I paid for it 3 years before.
Good luck.

if the car is worth $8k on good running condition, then you are still on target.

Well, I'm thinking of asking $4500, but afraid of the laughter for spending so much money on it! What the hey, it's only laughter.... I'll post some picture when I get a chance. If I could find two front seats, it would be 100%....

Man, you're never going to win that prettiest car contest if you keep selling your cars.
