how did you guess with my impatiance. Im 41 and I want my car to be perfect yesterday. NOT tomorrow Thank you again Allen. I was hoping to find just the veneer. As I said I didnt want to replace the whole steering wheel just the veneer. I guess I will have to go without my steering wheel while someone does the work. At least I have my mint condition 1982 240D to drive while I would be without the steering wheel. every time I drive the 240D im afraid something will hapen to it then it wont be in mint condition anymore.

I'm 59 and my inpatiences has mellowed over the past decade or so. One thing I forget to mention. eBay has a few sellers of Mercedes parts and I have seen the wood trimmed wheel at auction. I wrote one seller and he told me very honestly he got his wheels from rear ended Mercedes wrecks and he said they are all in good to very condition. The airbag however doesn't come with them and you have install the one you have on your present whell. Also, they are a lot cheaper then new.

Hi I have a 1997 C36 AMG and would like to get newer steering wheels, do you know if any non W202 steering wheels will fit? Also please refer me to some sites that sells the reverse lighting instrument cluster for my car. Thanks!
