When I was going to school in Maryland...I had a friend that was given the same choice. Unfortunatly, he didn't have a razor and got the ticket. That was almost 15 years ago and he had to pay around a 150.00 fine.

Hopefully, if you get caught the cop will just make you remove the tint while he watches. My next door neighbor when I lived in MD had to do that. Her side windows were too dark. The cop gave her a choice of removing it or getting a ticket.
More hopefully, cops will being doing something more important and just leave you alone.

I have been to almost all states in the US.
Never seen a state as backward, outdated, and poor as South Carolina and Georgia.
I have seen chain gangs there in both states....YES EVEN TODAY!
BTW...what do these state official mofos have to say about Suburbans that came tinted dark? No fine, no penalty because the drivers are rich and likely to be politically affiliated higher-up?

Factory tint is legal. I'm not sure where all these goofy laws came from in GA. GA citizens are predominately conservative. Even the liberals are conservative. Look at Zell Miller.
There other states besides SC and GA that use chain gangs. Arizona even uses female chain gangs.

Factory tint has been legal for a long time. Again, they can't check the back window.
