2007 Mercedes C280 4MATIC - Should I buy? - 9/30/2008 10:32:07 AM    baparooski   Posts: 1 Joined: 9/30/2008 Status: offline Heres the deal... I am new to Mercedes and looking for a little help... I have a chance to take over a lease on a 2007 Mercedes C280 4 MATIC. There are 16 months left on the 39,000mile lease, the car has 12,000 miles on it now. The buy-out after the lease is 22,000... Now for the "I think" deal of the century.... This guy is willing pay whatever is needed to get the payment down to 400 a month (total) for me to take the car.... All I have to do is cover the 600.00 transfer fee.... It sounds like a great deal to me..what do you folks think!!!??? Post #: 1

RE: 2007 Mercedes C280 4MATIC - Should I buy? - 10/1/2008 6:05:44 AM    08C300   Posts: 8 Joined: 9/11/2008 Status: offline Sounds like a pretty good deal.  I would find out what the "cash payoff" would be once the current owner pays the lease down to $400 a month.  Then you could just compare the cash payoff to the book value.
