I have a 1984 W123.133 engined 300D Turbodiesel sedan which will be needing a complete exhaust system very soon. However I''m having trouble finding this system, and when I called Bosal they told me it''s no longer available due to the age of the car. They said they have the 300TD WAGON exhaust system available though. Anyone know if the exhaust system on the 300TD WAGON is exactly the same fit and dimensions as the exhaust system on the 300D Turbo (300D-T) sedan? I think it should be, but I don''t want to buy a system that doesn''t fit. I live just east of Toronto, Canada, so if anyone knows of a supplier in the area......Thanks!

Go to your Benz dealership. The whole system, which is a simple bolt in, is about $600-$700.

The 300TD exhaust system will work. The only difference is in the tip coming out the muffler, it goes to one side then turns down rather than turning straight down. The dimensions and function is the same. The difference in the tip is to keep soot out of the vortex that follows behind the wagon''s hatch.
