my w215 won''t shift out of park. first thought would be shift module however i can hear and feel the actuator at the shifter moving every time i step on the brake. is there anything else that could be keeping this thing locked in park??

that happen to me about 2 months ago.  Since the Shifter is electronic and need to be programmed to the vehicle...it had to be replaced 1200.00 later driving again...you can always use a crowbar to crack the shift stop..it will work..but you have to be careful when shifting...since there is not lock for park.
